Jocko Valley Library

Jocko Valley Library's Build a Better World Summer Reading Program was a great success.  We offered eight events throughout the summer and had fifteen preschool to sixth grade children enrolled in the program.  It is very exciting to see so many children reading during the summertime!

Congratulations Top Readers:

Overall Reader- Brody Smith at 585 minutes

Preschool Reader- Pearl Brister at 240 minutes

K-3 Reader- Aaron Diaz at 315 minutes

4th-6th- Shanda Sivertsen at 165 minutes
 

We would like to thank volunteers Tiffany Naugle, Jill Raad, and Susan Black.   A special thanks to local businesses Wilson’s Foods and Stageline Pizza for donations. Parents, neighbors, and relatives came together to provide transportation for children to make it possible to attend the events.  Thank you Arlee community for making this summer's reading program such a success.
