Welcome!

Arlee Montana is located 27 miles north of Missoula and is the southern gateway to the Flathead Indian Reservation. Nestled in the Jocko Valley under the majestic Rocky Mountains, Arlee offers visitors a unique Montana experience. We have a wide variety of people and cultures in Arlee. In addition to the Salish and Kootenai Tribes, we have an active western community and The Garden of a Thousand Buddhas.

The Garden of One Thousand Buddhas is a public park, botanical garden and Buddhist center in the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism. The Garden of One Thousand Buddhas in western Montana’s Jocko Valley, just north of Arlee, is led by the visionary guidance of Gochen Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche.
