Summer’s here, and Arlee’s calendar is starting to fill in all the right ways. If you’ve been looking for a reason to pause the scroll, step outside, and connect with your neighbors — this week’s events deliver. Two experiences, totally different in vibe but equally rooted in community, are open now for registration.
🧘 Summer Solstice Oils Workshop – June 22
Centered Valley Yoga & Fitness is hosting a two-part event that’s equal parts reset and refresh. It starts with a restorative yoga class — slow, intentional movement that meets you wherever your energy is. After that, you’ll head into a guided essential oils workshop where you’ll create a summer scent blend to take home. Bonus: there’s a seasonal drink included, and you’ll leave with something made by hand.
🗓️ Sunday, June 22
⏰ 6:00–8:30 PM
📍 72539 N. Couture Loop Rd, Arlee, MT

This one’s ideal if you’ve been craving time to breathe, stretch, and shake off the dust. Space is limited, so get your spot early.
🍓 Jam Canning Class – June 25
If summer has a flavor, it’s probably strawberry-rhubarb. This hands-on canning class, hosted by the Arlee CDC, walks you through preserving fresh fruit so you can enjoy the season long after it ends. It’s built for beginners, but even experienced canners will pick up something new — and everyone goes home with a jar of jam.
🗓️ Wednesday, June 25
⏰ 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
📍 Arlee Community Development Corporation, 92555 US Hwy 93
🎟️ Reserve your spot: info@arleecdc.org | 406-726-5550
This class is part of Arlee CDC’s ongoing work to connect local knowledge, food, and skill-sharing — and it’s a solid way to spend a Wednesday morning.

If your calendar’s been mostly Zooms and to-dos, give yourself something different to look forward to. Both events are small-scale, local-first, and designed to connect us — to each other, to our traditions, and to the moment we’re in.
